Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

About ‘Lifeboat station Terschelling’ by MadebyGreet

On the edge of the island, where sea and sky seem to merge, stands the Drenkelingenhuisje (Shipwrecked Persons' Cottage). It stands powerfully on the vast beach, as if watching over the horizon. The wind whispers along the wooden planks, the sand gently shifting around it. Here, in this quiet place, hope once found a home. For those who had braved the sea and were unexpectedly thrown ashore, there was shelter here and you could let people know that you were stranded.

The cottage is still there — simple, steadfast and a little lonely. Like a silent guardian between sea and land, it holds stories of storms, ships and people who sought their way back to safety.
