Albert Weisgerber (St. Ingbert, 21 April 1878 - killed at Fromelles, near Lille, 10 May 1915) was a German painter and graphic artist. He worked mainly in impressionism, later with clear elements of expressionism.
After a period of apprenticeship as a decorative painter in Frankfurt am Main, he attended the School of Arts and Crafts in Munich between 1894 and 1897. He was also influenced by Fauvism. In 1913, together with Alexej von Jawlensky, Paul Klee and Alexander Kanoldt, among others, he founded the artists' association Münchner Neue Secession, of which he became the first president.
