The great kiskadie (Pitangus sulphuratus), known in Suriname for its call as Grietjebie, is an insectivorous (sub)tropical songbird from the family of tyrants.The adult great kiskadie is about 22 centimeters tall and weighs about 63 grams. The head is black with a white eye stripe. The back, wings and tail are brown, the breast is bright yellow. The bill is short and thick. The body length vedrages 21 to 24 cm.
