Horstick has been taking photographs since she was ten years old. From 2000 to 2003, she studied photo design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and completed her degree with a thesis in Kosovo on the subject of the police and the work of the UN. Three of these works were presented in a travelling exhibition by Terre des Femmes between 2005 and 2016.

Horstick worked as a choreographer and photographer before her studies and as a model for fashion…
