A wintery image of the frozen Lake Tjörnin in the centre of the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. Across the lake we see two churches: on the right the world famous Hallgrímskirkja and on the left the lesser known Fríkirkja.
This "paintification" is based on a photograph that was exposed to textures and filters until an impressionistic, picturesque look emerged.
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
