About ‘Kirkjufjara Beach’ by Easycopters

Kirkjufjara Beach is about the most famous black beach in Iceland. Years ago a volcano erupted here and the lava flowed into the sea. When the lava hits the water it cools down immediately and is carried away by the current of the sea. This creates a black beach.
