The Kingfisher is doing well in Amsterdam. More and more are being spotted. This work shows the Kingfisher in close-up, sitting on an overhanging branch in the botanical garden the Wiedijk in Amsterdam-West. The image is nicely sharp so that the beautiful bird comes into its own. The background has a green bokeh which accentuates the orange and blue colored bird even more and almost splashes off the image.
