Through the reed you can see the mills along the Molengang which are still used to pump water from the lower located polder. Kinderdijk is on the Unesco World Heritage List and attracts many tourists from all over the world every year. Outside the tourist season you'll find lovely peace and quiet here, especially in the early morning when the sun slowly rises and the reed is still quietly swaying in the wind.
