About ‘It turned out to be a nice evening after all’ by Bob Daalder

On a Wednesday evening in August, I went to the beach to photograph with Judith (a photographer friend). Although it was very cloudy all day and there was a lot of rain, we ventured out anyway. On the bike to the beach I rode in the rain, but when I arrived it fortunately cleared up and the clouds cleared a bit. All in all, another lovely evening on the beach....

This was shortly before the sun went down. What I really like here is the reflection of the setting sun in the sand ridges in the foreground. A lovely moment of enjoyment!
