Blacksod Bay in northwest Ireland, with the mountains of Currane in the background. In autumn, the grass and heather on the peatland turns all sorts of shades of brown. Rain showers are interspersed with occasional sunshine, giving the landscape a mystical atmosphere.

Bedum, Netherlands

Bo Scheeringa is an enthusiastic landscape photographer, with a great passion for the Dutch province of Groningen and Ireland. She also specializes in portrait and documentary photography. Bo mainly works on her own projects.
She published two photo books: in 2017 "RUIM LEVEN a portrait of North Groningen and its inhabitants" appeared, and in 2021 she published the photo book "PEAT".
