About ‘Icehair’ by Marcel Pietersen
Icehair can occur when the air temperature is slightly below freezing. The water squeezed out freezes into a hair-like structure. It is a beautiful natural phenomenon that you don't see often. For me the third time in all those years that I have been taking photographs and regularly visiting the forest.

The very first picture I made in 1974 . It was a project for school . The intention was to use my parents' house a photo. And that failed. It was then with a roll and everything had to be set manually. Once a camera of my oldest brother had it many years later to Mallorca .
