About ‘I See You (V) (black and white)’ by Kris Hermans

This wild Camargue horse was photographed in the Camargue marshes (southern France). It was chosen to shoot very early in the morning so there is very nice light. It is a detail of a beautiful horse. Camargue horses are characterised as a very strong temperamental breed. They have dark brown foals that take three to four years to turn into these beautiful white horses. I photographed these horses very intensively over a full week in the Camargue. Be sure to check out my other images of these Camargue horses.

Bird photography is practised almost exclusively from a hidden setup. This includes the use of hides, hide tents, camouflage nets and sometimes even the car. Mirror glass is often used to ensure minimal disturbance.
