About ‘Hiking in Spring Canyon’ by Bernard van Zwol
On one of our last days in America in the beautiful countryside of Arizona. Low hills, cacti, a canyon with a fast-flowing river due to a lot of rain. It is quiet, the hiking trail is overgrown with a kind of grass that hooks into your socks. You can feel lost in this landscape. It is very beautiful.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
