High-voltage pylons are pylons in the high-voltage grid to which cables are attached to transport large quantities of electrical energy over relatively long distances.
Electricity at high voltage level is often transported on land above ground with lines suspended from high pylons at a safe distance above the ground. These pylons are called high-voltage pylons or pylons. By far the majority of high-voltage pylons are so-called lattice or slatted pylons.
