High speed pass of Blue Angels #6 during airshow.
For those unfamiliar with the Blue Angels' show, it is quite startling when Blue Angel #6 comes flying over from behind the audience at high speed and deafening noise. A few seconds before, Blue Angel #7 performed a high-speed pass that the Blue Angels' commentator announced to the spectators in time. However, Blue Angel #6's so-called sneak pass is not announced and therefore comes as a loud surprise to many spectators!
The Blue Angels (also known as Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron) is the flight demonstration team of the United States Navy. Founded at the end of World War II, the team was 'the world's first official flight demonstration team. In the early years, the team flew three aircraft, then four, and for many years the team has consisted of six aircraft. Since 2021, it has been using the Boeing F/A-18E&F Super Hornet.
