About ‘Herring gull in 2nd summer plumage’ by Art by Jeronimo

Digital artwork of a Herring Gull in 2nd summer plumage. Initially, I thought it was a Great Black-backed Gull, but enquiries with the Bird Conservancy taught me that this is really a young Herring Gull after all, but in 2nd summer plumage (hence the brown colour).
