When I still worked near the Amstel station in Amsterdam, I used to take a walk through the area every morning. During these walks, I often came across cats, and not infrequently they came to meet and give me a head. Of course, there were also those typical scaredy-cats that would run off immediately if you looked at them at all. I started to make a habit of taking a photo of every cat I came across. This is where this work was inspired.
For the colour tone, I deliberately chose soft pastel blue tones. It gives that little bit extra, a bit more tenderness and sweetness. Beautiful light blue with soft bokeh in the background. The serene colours make the cat stand out even more, while the soft light and bokeh effects give it an almost magical feel.
This artwork is an asset to any room, especially the bedroom. It brings a calming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The softness and tenderness of the image create a sense of peace and comfort, making it an excellent choice for a space where relaxation is key. Hang it up and be surrounded by the soothing energy it exudes.
