Mossy trees with mushrooms in a green mountain forest. Sometimes the thing that limits you, is the thing that leads to greater creativity. I remember vividly how totally frustrated I was that I did not have a standard zoom lens and only one prime 55 mm lens with me. My feelings of frustration clouded my judgement of the images for quite a while and this is why you always need to wait a while before you start working on photos. The photographs made with this lens are now amongst my favorites funnily enough and this is one of them. This tree is gone now, but I liked the small mushrooms on the trunk of this tree so much. The fern in the foreground was very vibrant in colour and points to misty background on the right. The atmosphere is a bit mysterious and gives this photograph a fairytale appearance
