About ‘Gorge du Tarn’ by Antwan Janssen

The Gorges du Tarn is a gorge located in the Cevennes region, not far from the Cevennes National Park in the departments of Lozère and Aveyron in southern France.

The name "Gorges du Tarn" refers to the gorge, through which the River Tarn flows. This approximately 500 meters deep incised gorge is situated between two large dry limestone plateaus or Causses, namely the Causse Méjean in the southeast and the Causse de Sauveterre in the northwest.
The gorge begins at Le Rozier in the southwest and extends for over 50 km as far as Ispagnac. Because the road through the Gorges du Tarn runs both halfway up and down the gorge (and not, as in many other gorges, at the top), the traveler gets the feeling of entering the interior of a stone world, as if one were "swallowed" by the mountain range, Constantly one is confronted with all kinds of steep cliffs and other stone masses.

As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
