About ‘Giant's Causeway’ by Marc-Jan
A view across the promontory of the Giant’s Causeway out to sea. According to legend, this is the path that the Irish giant Fionn mac Cumhaill built to go into battle with the Scottish giant Benandonner.
Shot on 35 mm film, giving the photograph an 80s feel, with all its perfect imperfections and colour palette.

I’m a video editor by trade and have been working with moving images for 25 years. As a result, I’m used to how movement on screen and the sequence of shots tell a story.
The beauty of photography is that a single image can convey an entire story or capture a whole atmosphere. That is what I try to capture. Until recently, I did this for myself and my family, but now I have taken the plunge in the hope that I am not the only one who can enjoy these photographs.
