Polyanthus Tuberosa (Tuberose) has an exquisite fragrance with flowers from summer to fall. They make a beautiful cut flower but they are quite expensive to grow. They are popular for weddings because of the combination of beautiful white flowers and strong, intoxicating scent. They grow up to three feet tall with the green leaves and then a tall flower spike leading up to the beautiful, waxy, white flowers. They are best grown close to the house so that the intense perfume can be enjoyed. This one is grown near a patio door so the smell drifts into the living room.
