This work was drawn digitally. It is a one-line drawing (also called a continuous drawing) which means that it was drawn in one flowing line. I then filled the areas with textures and added the setting sun behind, creating a natural, yet abstract image of a forest in a sunset.
The whimsical simplicity of the lines and the harmonious, soft use of colour create a tranquil image, befitting my penchant for graphic, natural forms.
I can imagine that this minimalist representation could be a good addition to a japandi interior. The soft, somewhat greyish colours let an empty wall speak for itself, and the whimsical lines give the image reason to discover something new every time.
My work is almost always based on our beautiful nature, as an ode to all the beauty that we I are allowed to take a place in. We should cherish and love this. Nature can do very well without man, we not without nature!

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.
