Daniel van Heil (Brussels, Belgium 1604 - 1662) was a southern Dutch painter. Daniel joined the Brussels Guild of St Luke in 1627. He was a landscape painter in the style of Jacques d'Arthois, specialising in burning cities, romantic ruins and snowy landscapes. His biographer Arnold Houbraken called the burnings icy to behold, but so natural that they lacked nothing but heat.
