F/A-18 Swiss Hornet Solo Display Team.
The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is an all-weather multirole fighter-bomber. The aircraft was designed in the 1970s and 1980s based on the Northrop YF-17. The aircraft is still in service as in the air forces of Switzerland and Finland.
MvDonnell Douglas merged with Boeing years back, hence the name change to Boeing F/A-18 Hornet.
It has since been announced that Switzerland will replace the F/A-18 with the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II.

AIR14 was a grand airshow celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Swiss Air Force held at Payerne Air Base in Switzerland. The event took place on two consecutive weekends.
