About ‘Escheresque in Colour’ by Arjen Roos

"Escheresque in Colour" brings an explosion of hues and depth to M.C. Escher's signature precise geometry. Honouring the grandmaster of optical illusions, this artwork interweaves my love of colour and textures, transforming Escher's classic black-and-white worlds into a dynamic and colourful realm.

The artwork is not only a visual voyage of discovery, but also a celebration of the creative process. Its creation, captured in a video published on Youtube, reveals the layering and artistic decisions. The creation of this artwork was accompanied by an original soundtrack, "Escheresque in Color", a piece as artful as the visual masterpiece itself. This composition, created with the help of AI technology, mixes dance with classical music, giving the artwork its own rhythm and tonal atmosphere.

The synergy of image and sound is a signature of my artistic practice and reflects my pursuit of a multisensory art experience. "Escheresque in Color" is therefore more than an image; it is an invitation to reconnect with Escher's work, this time through a path that enchants both the eye and the ear.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
