The Erasmus Bridge, often affectionately called The Swan, is not only a recognisable icon of Rotterdam, but also a symbol of movement, connection and progress. In the dynamic light, its elegant lines come fully to life. The steel structure captures the light as if it were breathing; ever-shifting, always in dialogue with the city that never stands still.
The contrast between strength and sophistication is palpable. The bridge not only connects the banks of the Meuse but also ideas, people and rhythms. Functional and bright during the day, poetic and full of atmosphere at night. The light plays across the water, reflecting in glass and clouds, creating an image that is as ephemeral as it is timeless.
This work on the wall brings some of that energy inside. It reminds us of flow, of moving forward, of daring to choose new paths. The city is alive, growing and changing - just like us.
This photo invites you to stand still and dream. To breathe in the moment, while everything keeps moving. Because sometimes it is the combination of light and line that tells who we are and where we want to go.
