About ‘End of the world’ by Sjoerd Mouissie

The lighthouse at the most southwestern tip of mainland Europe. The Romans used to think this was the end of the world and that the (flat) earth stopped at the horizon. They declared this place sacred. Nowadays, many thousands of people come here every year to witness the sunset. I took this picture about an hour before the sun sank…
