The Slikken van Flakkee form the natural transition of the water of the Grevelingen to the island of Goeree-Overflakkee between Goedereede and Herkingen in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland. The total area consists of approximately 1500 ha of mudflats and salt marshes, and 1250 ha of water shallower than 2.5 metres. The bank length is approximately 20 km. The width of the area varies between 500 and 2500 meters.
The Slikken van Flakkee are a feast for nature lovers. Walkers and cyclists can also view the nature reserve from the lookout points.
