Drops of sweat itch every square millimeter of my back, on lower ground streams emerge that grow into raging rapids. The sun burns mercilessly as I crawl through the reeds. Here and there an irritated buzzing sounds as I disturb the meal of yet another insect. Despite my best efforts to move forward as panther-like as possible, the animals become restless. The scene is beautiful, geese, herons, many smaller birds, Scottish Highlanders and horses populate the lake. The flocks are about to leave the water and the geese are taking to the wing.
Photography started as a hobby and has now grown into my work. I see my pictures as an illustration of the wonderful places and cultures that are around us. I can therefore endlessly marvel at the things that I see and encounter. I try to convey that sense of wonder.. Read more…
