A kingfisher has been added to this digital adaptation of the famous painting Ducks at Full Moon by Japanese painter Ohara Koson. The kingfisher sits on a branch with the full moon behind it. I once captured this kingfisher photographically (in Amsterdam) and now use it in this collage. The colours of the kingfisher have been matched with the colours used by Ohara Kosan. The original painting hangs in Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum. About the image maker: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, Peter feels a close connection to the city of Amsterdam.
