The image shows a high-speed shot of one drop of water hitting another - the picture was taken at that exact moment. This results in a highly interesting shot of an irretrievable, infinitely brief moment.
It is unpredictable aesthetics of nature that lead to fascinating and inspiring moments, especially in the details.
The freezing of the natural dynamics of the flowing movement of the water provides fascination and inspiration in equal measure for the viewer.
The coldness of the water (intensified by hard blue light) corresponds magically with the flowing warmth of the red liquid.
What is special about this image is that it is not symmetrical and straight - the natural deviation from the vertical ideal line makes this image a special example of my high-speed photography.
This is a macro shot, the subject is about four centimetres high. High-speed photography of drops requires extensive knowledge and special technical equipment.
