About ‘Drogenapstoren’ by By Odessa DC
The Drogenapstoren, originally called the Saltpoort, was built in 1444-1446 as city gate of Zutphen. It only served as a city gate for a short time, because it was bricked up in 1465. Since then, it has been called Drogenapstoren, named after Tonis Drogenap.
