About ‘Cycling, cycling, cycling,...’ by Mariska Vereijken
In many places in the Netherlands, you see bikes, bikes and more bikes. So do these bicycles near Eindhoven station. Photo taken with a vintage lens, to capture the nostalgic feeling in the photo and to make it impossible to tell when it was taken. Converted to black and white to capture even more the feeling of a photo from the past.

Mariska Vereijken
Gemert, Netherlands
Mariska Vereijken is a self-taught photographer. Since she has her own studio at home, there is more space and freedom to turn concepts into images. Besides (fineart) portrait work that you can find on her instagram account, she makes a diversity of photographic works that often come about conceptually. Mostly works that exude tranquillity but also with a creative slant or that contain a joke.
