About "Colour dissolves in water"

About the artwork

The picture shows the moment when deep blue and turquoise-coloured ink dissolves in clear water. The ink forms cloud-like structures that spread out organically and seemingly weightlessly in space. The movement is frozen - a fleeting process, captured in a single, calm image.

The inspiration for this work stems from a fascination with physical processes, in particular the way ink behaves in water. It is about visualising transitions - from density to transparency, from form to dissolution. The creative process was deliberately open in order to give space to the natural flow of the ink.

The atmosphere I want to create with this painting is calm, reduced and contemplative. It invites the viewer to focus on the details and let their gaze wander into the depths.

The central message is letting go - a visual symbol of change, of being absorbed in the moment.

In interior design, this work acts as a quiet accent. It blends harmoniously into modern, minimalist rooms while at the same time bringing a subtle dynamism and depth.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
