In the early hours of the morning, the rising sun bathes the backdrop of Cologne in a magical play of light. But all this stands in the shadow of the imposing Cologne Cathedral, which rises majestically above the city. Its towers rise proudly towards the sky, while the sun emphasises its intricate decorations.
The old town bank of the Rhine lies calmly and reflects the warm colours of the surrounding buildings. The river itself meanders through the city as if it had silently followed Cologne's history for centuries.
