The Colca Canyon is a gorge in southern Peru. It is located about 160 kilometers from Arequipa. It is more than twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in America. On the other hand, the walls are not as straight as the Grand Canyon. The deepest point is over 3000 meters. The Colca Valley is a colorful area with villages where the locals still adhere to the old traditions and way of life, and they still use the agricultural terraces that give the area a beautiful colorful appearance.
