Coastline, abstract, turquoise and sand

by TheXclusive Art

The ‘Coastline’ abstract turquoise-and-sand painting brings the rugged beauty of a rocky coastline to life in a fresh and dynamic composition, in which turquoise waves, sand-coloured cliffs and dark rocks combine to form a sunny scene that feels powerful and open. This unique artwork features broad, sweeping brushstrokes depicting the foaming water crashing against the rocks, whilst the thick layers of paint and sharp planes capture the light in an artistic and contemporary manner. The azure blue, cream-beige and terracotta-brown hues lend the whole a summery feel that subtly yet powerfully reflects the energy of the sea.

The cliff on the right forms a solid, block-like mass in contrast to the dynamic waves on the left, whilst the foam winds its way through the rocks as light lines, guiding the eye towards the distant, misty horizon.

The cool water combined with the warm earth tones makes this piece a lovely choice for a maritime, natural or contemporary interior. Hung on the wall of a living room, dining room or bathroom, it brings in a breath of fresh sea air, whilst above a sofa or in a light-filled hallway, it gives the wall an open, sunny feel.

Coastal walkers, sea swimmers and lovers of expressive textures will find in this painting a little piece of beach and cliff that exudes a holiday atmosphere every day.
