Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Close-up of an elephant vintage’ by Beeldpracht by Maaike

This subdued black-and-white photograph zooms in on a recognisable detail of the elephant: the trunk and tusks. The close-up brings out the texture of the skin clearly, with all the lines and folds that give the animal its character. The light curvature of the tusks contrasts nicely with the dark, rough skin of the trunk.
