About ‘Close-up of a wood anemone’ by Jeannet Hooftman

Two wood anemones, one sharp, the other blurred in the background. This contributes to a dreamy and fairy-like atmosphere where the background is very soft and blurred. This created a calm image in pastel shades.
This photo was taken with a macro lens at a very low vantage point. The camera was hanging upside down on my tripod so that the little flower is nicely detached from the background.
The wood anemone is an announcement of spring. And aren't we all looking forward to that?
