If there is something that is often neglected within architectural photography, it is the rear sides of buildings. Of course, the front is the business card and should invite (or sometimes discourage), but why not make things beautiful all around. In the case of the Chassé theatre in Breda, I think this is the case. There, the rear with all its structures and lines is more than worthwhile. The angular shapes of the rear are in subtle contrast to the wavy lines of the front and side of the building. The interplay of lines of the large square facing the building completes the picture.
