An entire colony of mushrooms has taken possession of the caves of a dead tree stump and are poking their heads out. As if they are cavemen seeking protection from the elements of autumn outside. I think these are clustered woodlovers, also known as the sulphur tuft.
I set the tree stump in black and white and a bit darker to enhance the large effect a bit, and to make the mushrooms stand out a bit more.
