About ‘Cave church’ by Jürgen Wiesler

Statues of saints in the cave church, Chiesa dei Piedigrotta, in Calabria, Italy. A Catholic place of worship carved entirely out of the tufa, located one kilometre north of Pizzo in the village of "La Madonnella". Inside there are several groups of sculptures that decorate it, also made of tuff. A wonderful place.
