About ‘Casino Venice by night’ by Thomas Bugdoll

The Palazzo Vendramin-Calergi in Venice was built in 1509 and has served as a luxurious residence for various nobles and celebrities ever since. In 1638, it was decided that the building would also house a casino. Since then, it has been possible to gamble almost continuously in this casino, making the Casinò di Venezia the oldest casino in the world for almost 400 years. The Venetian palace, which is still impressive today, stands on the left bank of the Grand Canal in Venice.
