The promenade of Cadiz.
The old port city of Cadiz in southwestern Spain (Andalusia) has an eventful history. Because of its location on a peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean, Cadiz played an important role in 18th century trade with the New World. This can still be seen in the attractive historic city centre with its cathedral, fortifications, narrow streets, pleasant squares and a sea promenade. The city has been nicknamed 'little Havana' due to its historical connection and resemblance to the Cuban city with its characteristic boulevard.
