About ‘Buddha's Flowering Tin’ by Emil Husstege

At first glance, the Buddha's calm, serene gaze is surrounded by a vibrant explosion of colours and flowers in this masterful digital painting. On closer inspection, we see a white flower subtly protruding next to the Buddha's face, perhaps a Hibiscus, symbol of purity and enlightenment. The golden and yellowish hues surrounding the Buddha create a sense of warmth and divine glow.

My inspiration for this work was the intertwining of nature and spirituality. The Buddha's surrender to nature, with flowers that seem to grow out of his being, indicates a harmony between the human and the natural. The dripping paint technique, which blurs the boundaries between the two, was a conscious choice to emphasise this symbiosis.

The mood I wanted to set was one of peaceful coexistence, a sense of balance and harmony. The work was made during a period of personal reflection and growth, and it serves as a reminder of the importance of connecting with nature for inner peace.

Using digital painting techniques, I brought this vision to life, paying particular attention to details such as the individual petals and textures of the Buddha.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
