Wat Pho (Thai วัดโพธิ์), in full Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram (Thai วัดพระเชตุพนวิมลมังคลาราม ราชวรมหาวิหาร), in English The Temple of the Reclining Buddha, is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand. The temple was created by a restoration to the Wat Phodharam in 1788 which stood on the same site. The temple was restored and expanded under the reign of King Rama III, and was restored again in the year 1982.
