"Boy Reading a book" is a nostalgic tribute to the quiet and profound moments of childhood introspection. Inspired by my own memories of getting lost in stories, I sought to capture the serenity and wonder that come with immersing oneself in the pages of a book. The young boy sits peacefully on a sturdy ledge, a grounding element that contrasts with the limitless possibilities of the light blue background, symbolic of expansive imagination and uncharted intellectual horizons.
The boy's bright yellow sweater vibrantly contrasts with the muted tones of the backdrop and ledge, drawing your attention to his focused form and the open book cradled in his hands. This is where the story lives—not just within the book's pages, but in his absorbed posture, the tilt of his head, and the timelessness of the moment.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
