Blueberry Blossom Next Stage - the blueberry blossom lost their delicate white skirts and only the green part is left with the blueberry fruit starting to grow within the little caps. We just has a big Spring rain and the blossomes are lined with raindrops. The tiny cups are filled with water and appear like eyes looking at the veiwer. It has a fun abstraction feel to it. The bright greens constrast with the magenta pinks around the blossoms.
I photographed this blueberry flower macro at eye levle looking right into the tiny floral cups. The focus it on the edge of the flowers where the raindrops are sitting. This blueberry floral has a fun and playful feel to it. Between the water droplets and the starting blueberries there is a lot going on in this macro photograph.
