About ‘Blue water’ by Hans Soowijl

Brúarfoss is a spectacular, photogenic waterfall in Iceland, known for its breathtaking, almost unreal clear blue water coming from the Langjökull glacier. This "Bridge waterfall" (as the name literally means) is located on the Golden Circle and can be reached via a beautiful hike along the Brúará river, where you will also encounter other waterfalls such as Hlauptungfoss and Miðfoss. The hike is worthwhile to escape the crowds and experience the waterfall in its natural setting.
