A longtail boat lies on the edge of the Andaman Sea, as if taking a short break before nature takes over the stage. The sky over Koh Ngai darkens; heavy rain clouds roll in and are reflected in the shimmering green water. The bow of the boat juts proudly and upright into the wind, decorated with red and blue cloths that move in the oncoming storm as if they had a mind of their own.
Fine waves run over the warm sand, reach the wooden planks and retreat again, as if trying to persuade the boat to come out to sea. In the distance, the outlines of dark islands appear, silent and mysterious, like observers of a drama that is about to begin. The atmosphere is tense, as if the world is holding its breath for a moment.
The boat looks as if it has experienced many stories - full of adventure, longing and return. It is waiting for the next person who dares to sail towards the open sea, despite the threatening clouds. Because even if the storm is frightening, it is just another part of the journey through southern Thailand, where wind, water and freedom are inextricably linked.
